I'm working on some projects on Linux right now which uses the Tango palette, but found the official palette image a bit difficult to use [link] - mainly because its proportion and extreme contrast in type size.
Modification to original file: + Place objects into separate layers + Took out visual flourishes + Lower type size contrast + Ensure usability + legibility even when shrunk to 100px high
My plan is to use this as a design UI blueprint for an interactive color palette which can import multitudes of color palette formats and turn them into reusable tools. It's also my little project as I learn Python and PyGTK from scratch.
Files uploaded: rev04.svg: Inkscape 0.46 svg rev04a.png: PNG exported from Inkscape rev04b.png: PNG rendered and saved using EOG (Eye of Gnome). The fonts are noticeably crisper here.
